composers' intent for Mark Ryden's "BLOOD: Miniature Paintings of Sorrow and
Fear" was to create music that allows the mind to wander and imagine. Music
entering a space like a scented candle or a faint perfume, an "aroma". Functioning
more as series of shadows or distant echoes. Like a dark and blurry reflection
in a faraway mirror."
