| Robert
Graham
was born in Mexico City in 1938 and studied at San Jose State College,
B.A. (1961-1963) and the San Francisco Art Institute, M.F.A. (1963-1964).
Since 1964, his work has been the subject of over eighty solo exhibitions
and two retrospective exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Japan
and Mexico. His work is part of many national and international museum
collections. In 1993, Robert Graham received the A.C.L.U. Freedom
of Speech Award and the California Governor's Award for his outstandaing
contribution to the Arts. He works and lives in Venice, California. |
